Introducing… BARE

I’ve been waiting for this interview for quite some time.  I’ve been a big fan of Bare since I heard his stuff floating around on Youtube a few months ago.  This guy really needs no introduction…  This. Is. BARE!

Name, age, location?

BARE – 27 – LOS ANGELES

How did you get into music production?

‘Well I went to parties when I was younger and really fell in love with a lot of the sounds I was hearing.  So I decided to try out producing and see if I could make even better sounds.  Before that I was in a few metal bands (guitar).  So naturally, music has always been a big part of my life.’

Which producers influence you? What inspires you to create music?

‘My latest favorites are – Skism, Flux Pavillion, Mark Instinct, Downlink and Borgore (Some next level shit every time guys ;) ).  I’d have to say that the love of making something from nothing inspires me to make music.  That and my fans.  There is no better feeling thanwhen you see people go insane to something you created from scratch!’

Which of your tracks is your personal favourite (and why)?

‘Personal Fav’s that are out would be – ‘Fine day’, ‘Shot me down’ & ‘All about my paper’.  Those 3 songs caused so much buzz and really helped me find a new sound at the time when I was looking for something more.  Personal Fav’s that are not out would be – ’2die4′, ‘Banshee’ & ‘Hearts Under Fire rmx’ – Those 3 are big for me because I was exploring new sounds, techniques or styles with them and I am very happy with the crowd reaction I’ve been getting from them.’

What have you been working on recently? Do you have anything due for release soon?

‘Well, i just wrapped up 2 collab songs with Mark instinct as MOB. i have tons of work to get done before January.  I plan to work on some remixes, a collab and a few originals.  My next release will be ‘I believe’, Banshee/Collateral damage on Subhuman early next year and an Ultragore ep following that in February.  Keep your eyes peeled!’

Any shout outs you want to do?

‘Shouts to Subhuman, Play Me, Buygore, my family, my freinds and all my fans out there.  Every time, every interview I will say it time and time again… I aint shit without you guys!’

Last night Bare uploaded 3 new tracks onto his Soundcloud.  One of them being the long-awaited ‘GEE6SIX RMX’.  Everyone has been talking about this for quite some time now.  Finally, it’s available!  Here it is..!

Next, I’ll put up Bare’s 3 favourite released tracks; ‘Fine day’, ‘Shot me down’ and ‘All about my paper’.  Probably his most popular tracks to date, most of you will have heard them already so I won’t waste my time trying to describe them.  Ready for the noise..?

Here is a preview of his upcoming release on Subhuman.  This is ‘Banshee’…

Lastly, my favourite track from Bare – ‘Lateral’.  This totally blew my mind when I first heard it.  I’m a big fan of Tool anyway and to hear one of their songs turned into such a masterpiece of filth is amazing.  Bare definitely isn’t afraid to try new things in order to reach the next level.  This track shows that better than any other in my opinion…

If you haven’t already, be sure to check out his other stuff on Soundcloud/Myspace and show him some love on Facebook…
